| Biography:
Stephen M. Kohen is a technology specialist in the Patent Law and Intellectual
Property Practice Groups of Proskauer Rose LLP.
Mr. Kohen received his B.S. in electrical engineering, with Highest Honors,
from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign in May 2002, his M.S. in
electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology in June 2004, and is a candidate for Juris Doctor at Suffolk University
(2009).
Mr. Kohen assists clients in obtaining and enforcing intellectual property rights
both in the U.S. and abroad. He has experience in the technology fields of optics
and quantum electronics, microelectronics, and numerical methods. While at MIT,
Mr. Kohen designed and analyzed optical confinement structures for use in semiconductor
THz quantum cascade lasers using finite element numerical methods.
