| Biography:
Beth Martens is an associate in the Firm's Corporate Department and a member
of its private equity group. Ms. Martens concentrates in the areas of corporate
and securities law, with particular emphasis on private equity transactions.
Her private equity experience includes representation of fund managers and institutional
investors in both U.S. and non-U.S. fund formation projects, private equity
fund and portfolio company investments, and management and governance issues.
Her company representation experience includes public offerings and private
financings, securities compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate
representation.
Ms. Martens received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill in 1991 with Distinction & Honors, and an M.A. in English from
Pennsylvania State University in 1994. She received her J.D. from the University
of California at Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 2000. Ms. Martens is
admitted to the Bar in Massachusetts (January 2001).
