| Biography:
Dana K. O'Brien is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of
the Private Equity Group at Proskauer Rose LLP. Ms. O'Brien has a general corporate
practice with a particular emphasis on representing private equity funds and
managers in capital formation and investments. Ms. O'Brien also represents institutional
investors with respect to investments in private equity funds.
Ms. O'Brien received her B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross in 1999 and
her J.D., with high honors, from the University of Connecticut in 2004. At the
University of Connecticut, Ms. O'Brien was Assistant Managing Editor of the Connecticut
Law Review.
Ms. O'Brien also authored the article "In the Name of National Security
or Insecurity? The Potential Indefinite Detention of Noncitizen Certified Terrorists
in the United States and the United Kingdom in the Aftermath of September 11,
2001" that appeared in 16 FLA. J. INT'L. L., 407-481 (2004).
Ms. O'Brien is admitted to the Bar in Massachusetts (2004).
