| Biography:
Yolanda D. Montgomery's practice focuses on ERISA litigation, ERISA substantive
plan work, and employment litigation, representing employers.
Prior to joining Proskauer Rose LLP, Ms. Montgomery was a partner in her own
law firm where she specialized in employment litigation. Ms. Montgomery represented
mostly plaintiffs who had been wrongfully terminated.
Ms. Montgomery graduated from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1996 and received
her Master of Law in Taxation with a concentration in Employee Benefits from
Temple University in 2000. While in law school, Ms. Montgomery was engaged in
various activities, including Managing Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law
Review and Secretary of the Board of Advocates.
Ms. Montgomery is actively involved in the American Bar Association Labor &
Employment Section, Equal Employment Opportunity Law Committee.
Ms. Montgomery is licensed to practice law in Texas, Washington, D.C., New
York, and Louisiana.
