Biography:

Reid Arstark is an associate in the Firm's Corporate Department in New York and a member of the Firm's Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group and Medical Device Practice Group.

Mr. Arstark is actively involved in the Firm’s Medical Device Practice Group, specializing in representing early stage medical device and technology companies from their formative stages through product development and final exit or sale. He is experienced in a wide range of technology transactions, including licensing, exclusive marketing and product development agreements. Mr. Arstark is part of a dedicated medical device practice group representing dozens of medical device companies on a day-to-day basis.

Mr. Arstark has experience in a broad range of domestic and international corporate and securities transactions, representing public and private companies, private equity funds and their portfolio companies, lenders and hedge funds in a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, going-private transactions, joint ventures, exclusive licensing transactions; development and other strategic collaborations; leveraged buyouts; management buyouts; senior debt financings; secured and unsecured subordinated debt financings; recapitalizations; restructurings; bridge financings; private equity and venture capital transactions.

In addition to representing clients in important strategic transactional matters, Mr. Arstark acts as an advisor to the Firm’s business clients on a wide range of general business law matters, including employment matters, securities law compliance and corporate governance.

Mr. Arstark graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where he served as Associate Editor of the Fordham International Law Journal, and received a bachelor of arts, cum laude and with honors, from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
