| Biography:
Nathan Lander is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department and is resident in the New York office of Proskauer Rose LLP.
Nate handles general litigation matters in both federal and state courts involving commercial disputes, insurance coverage matters, construction disputes, and various other actions.
Nate received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2003, and received his B.A. from Virginia Tech in 2000.
Nate is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York.
Nate also handles pro bono matters and was a recipient of a Pro Bono Award from the New York Legal Aid Society in 2005 and again in 2007.
In 2007-2008, Nate worked for six months as a Public Service Attorney in the Office of the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York. He was assigned as a trial attorney in the Manhattan Tort Division, where he defended the City of New York from personal injury lawsuits. Nate was main trial counsel in cases brought against the City in Supreme Court, New York County as well as in Kings County. In three of these cases, Nate convinced the court to dismiss all claims against the City of New York.
