| Biography:
Jonathan Galler is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department in the Boca Raton Office of Proskauer Rose LLP.
Jonathan began his career at Proskauer in the Firm’s New York Office where he practiced complex commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels in the federal courts of New York and New Jersey. Before joining the Firm, Jonathan completed a year-long clerkship for the Honorable Steven M. Gold in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
In January 2007, Jonathan moved to the Boca Raton Office where he continues to practice general litigation, representing clients through all phases of commercial disputes. He has worked on matters involving a broad range of practice areas including insurance coverage, antitrust law, white collar criminal investigations, probate litigation, and commercial defamation.
In the area of insurance coverage, Jonathan was an integral member of the team of Proskauer litigators who successfully represented Silverstein Properties in the proceedings held to determine the property and rental income losses sustained by the World Trade Center on 9/11.
In the area of probate litigation, Jonathan works on cases in which the Firm represents major U.S. banks serving in their capacities as trustees. He has also worked on a variety of matters on behalf of some of the largest international companies in the pharmaceutical and telecommunications industries.
Jonathan received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2003, and he received his B.A. in philosophy from Columbia University in 2000. While in law school, he was selected to serve as a legal writing instructor for first-year students and an appellate advocacy teaching assistant for second-year students.
Jonathan is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Florida, New York and New Jersey, as well as the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. He lives in Boynton Beach with his wife, who is also an attorney, and their son.
