| Biography:
Matan is an associate in Proskauer’s Corporate Department and a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. With a particular focus on intellectual property-driven transactions, Matan represents domestic and international technology, media, medical device and other companies in connection with complex licensing (including trademark, content and technology), joint venture, corporate partnering, spin-off, outsourcing, product development and distribution arrangements, as well as Internet, e-commerce, privacy and general corporate and commercial matters. He also advises clients on brand, content, technology and trade secret protection through intellectual property and contractual protections, and advises companies and funds in evaluating intellectual property portfolios in connection with private equity investments, public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Matan also has broad-based corporate experience representing clients in such transactions.
Matan received his law degree from New York University Law School in 2003. He received his bachelor’s and associate's degree from Yeshiva University in 1999.
