Biography:

Ana Vermal focuses on international commercial arbitration. She has represented clients from the United States, Europe, Latin America, and Asia in international disputes involving joint ventures, transportation contracts, sale of goods contracts, service agreements, construction projects, shareholder agreements and international investments.  She has experience working with the rules of, among other institutions, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the American Arbitration Association’s International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). 

Prior to joining Proskauer’s Paris office, Ana worked for four years in Proskauer’s New York office, where she gained extensive experience in both international arbitration and international litigation. 

An Argentine and Spanish citizen, Ana was raised primarily in Germany and holds law degrees from both the United States and France.  She was admitted to the New York bar in 2001 and to the Paris bar in 2004.  Ana is fluent in Spanish, German, English and French.
