Biography:

Brian Rauch is an associate in Proskauer Rose LLP's Labor and Employment Law Department, representing employers in union/management relations, collective bargaining and all aspects of employment law and litigation.

Brian aids companies in defending against union organizing campaigns - from single site campaigns to nationwide corporate campaigns - by developing overall campaign strategy, preventing disruptive picketing and preparing appropriate proactive actions. Brian also assists organizations (including multiemployer bargaining associations) in negotiating collective bargaining agreements in a wide array of industries, including real estate, construction, retail and non-profit. He tries arbitrations and litigations arising from collective bargaining relationships, including grievance arbitrations, hearings before the National Labor Relations Board and federal court injunction litigations. He also has counseled clients with respect to strikes, decertification campaigns and the withdrawal of union recognition.

Brian handles all types of employment litigation and counseling. In addition to handling the various aspects of the litigation process, he regularly provides advice and guidance to clients - counseling them on how to avoid litigation and achieve their business objectives through proactive human resources practices.

Brian is a graduate of Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) and graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2001. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association and Society for Human Resource Management.
