Biography:

Yasmine Tarasewicz is a partner of Proskauer Rose LLP and head of the Labor Law Practice in its Paris office. She is also co-chair of the Firm's International Labor and Employment Law Practice group. She practices in the field of French and European labor law and litigation for French and international clients.

Yasmine's practice concentrates on collective labor law issues with particular emphasis on the labor aspects of large corporate reorganizations. She has vast experience in helping her clients achieve their economic and corporate objectives while complying with the protections afforded employees under French law. She spends the majority of her time advising clients on the restructuring of their human resources in France and throughout Europe.

Yasmine and her team of labor lawyers have been invaluable to U.S. clients doing business in Europe in managing the labor law aspects of corporate restructuring of their French and European operations.

Yasmine appears before the specialized labor courts of France, the criminal courts and the courts of general jurisdiction at the trial and appellate levels in the defense of her clients' interests in a wide range of matters including wrongful dismissal, collective layoffs, and litigation against unions or works councils.

A graduate of the University of Paris School of Law, Yasmine is author of numerous publications, as well as a lecturer on cutting edge labor law issues. She is a member of the Paris Bar and is fluent in French and English.
