Biography:

Steven is a Senior Counsel in Proskauer Rose LLP's Labor and Employment Law Department, representing employers in employment law and litigation, as well as union/management relations and collective bargaining.

Steve handles a wide range of employment litigation and arbitration matters in both state and federal courts and agencies, including claims alleging age, race, sex, disability and national origin discrimination, sexual harassment, breach of contract, defamation and wrongful discharge. In addition to successfully arguing numerous dispositive and other motions, his advocacy experience includes appearances before the New Jersey Appellate Division and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Steve also provides advice and guidance to clients; counseling employers on how to avoid litigation and achieve their employee relations objectives through proactive human resources techniques such as employee handbooks and sexual harassment policies.

Steve graduated from Trenton State College and received his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. Prior to entering private practice, Steve was the law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Guterl, P.J.S.C. in Somerset County Superior Court. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a member of the American and New Jersey Bar Associations.
