| Biography:
Jeremy Brown, a senior counsel in Proskauer Rose LLP's Labor and Employment
Law Department, joined the Firm's New Jersey office in 1999. Prior to joining
Proskauer, Jeremy worked at a large New Jersey law firm where he handled a broad
range of labor and employment matters. Jeremy has represented management in
all phases of federal, state and administrative employment law matters. His
responsibilities have included conducting sexual harassment investigations;
deposing litigants in race, age, sex and national origin discrimination cases;
assisting in arbitrations before the NYSE and NASD; and drafting opinion letters
regarding complex employment law issues. Jeremy also has extensive experience
in traditional labor relations law matters. He has organized election campaigns,
assisted in labor arbitrations, and counseled clients regarding strike preparation
and the implementation of strike strategy.
Another focus of Jeremy's practice is providing advice to employers regarding
day-to-day employment and labor relations matters. Jeremy served as temporary
in-house counsel to a major client in which he supported in-house counsel in
the daily operation of the employment law department. With this unique background,
Jeremy recognizes the practical concerns facing employers.
Jeremy received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1992.
He received his law degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Law in 1995. Jeremy
is a member of the Bars of New York and New Jersey, and a member of the Labor
and Employment Section of the New Jersey Bar Association. He is admitted to
practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts
of New York and the District of New Jersey.
