| Biography:
Charles Parsons is a partner in the Corporate Department and a member of our global Private Investment Funds Group, which is recognized by Chambers Global, Chambers USA and US Legal 500.
As well as advising on a broad range of corporate matters, his particular focus is advising clients, such as Credit Suisse, Cohen & Steers, Industry Funds Management and JPMorgan, on the formation, marketing and operation of private investment funds; structuring alternative investment vehicles; and issues relating to the acquisition, disposition and structuring of portfolio investments.
Charles also advises clients on compliance, operational and regulatory issues involving private investment funds. Among the types of funds and complexes Charles has structured are private equity, real estate, infrastructure and fund of funds.
In addition, Charles advises clients with respect to establishing and implementing employee co-investment programs, financing arrangements and cross border transactions.
Recognized in US Legal 500 2008, Charles received his J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University Law School in 1998 and his B.A. from Connecticut College in 1993.
