Biography:

Ori Solomon is a partner in Proskauer's Corporate Department in the New York office. He is a general corporate and securities lawyer with diverse experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments and corporate finance transactions.

Ori has represented large institutional investors and venture capital investors in connection with dozens of portfolio investments, including venture capital investments in emerging, high technology companies. He has also worked with several hedge funds in connection with their investments in publicly traded securities. Ori has also represented public and private companies and investment funds in connection with financial and strategic acquisitions, dispositions and other business combination transactions of companies and business divisions. Ori has also represented public companies in connection with their ongoing corporate and securities law matters; including providing advice on corporate governance matters and drafting various types of documents required to be filed under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 or circulated to stockholders, such as periodic reports, annual reports to stockholders and proxy statements.

Ori received his Bachelor of Arts, with Honors in Business Administration (with distinction) from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where he was an associate editor for the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review.
