William Krisel, counsel in the Firm's Paris office, is a French avocat, as
well as a member of the New York Bar. Having practiced in France since 1984, Bill

With over 23 years of experience in the corporate area, he has experience in the
full life cycle of a foreign-owned business in Europe: joint-venture agreements,
patent- and trademark-licensing issues, competition and securities law questions,
distribution agreements, regulatory compliance issues, labor law issues, tax problems,

impact of European Union law and regulations on international business activity,
Bill has developed considerable experience in EU antitrust law. Bill graduated
summa cum laude from Harvard College in 1976 and cum laude from Harvard Law School
in 1980.
On the basis of Bill's experience as both a French and American
lawyer in Paris, he is a valuable resource to Proskauer clients in the practical
