Biography:

Neil Abramson, a partner in Proskauer Rose LLP's Labor and Employment Law Department, is a graduate of Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations and Northwestern University School of Law.

Neil handles all types of employment litigation (including discrimination claims, claims for breach of contract and claims arising from the collective bargaining relationship) as well as arbitrations, administrative proceedings and collective bargaining. He has litigated matters -- single as well as multiple plaintiff -- in the state and federal courts of New York as well as a number of other jurisdictions. Neil also has extensive experience in handling collective bargaining disputes for public sector employers, including litigating matters before the New York State Public Employment Relations Board and various public interest arbitration panels. He also provides advice and guidance to clients, counselling employers on how to avoid litigation and achieve their employee relations objectives.

Among the clients Neil has represented are major corporations in such diverse fields as financial services, news media, transportation, sports, energy, entertainment and health care, as well as numerous public benefit and public service corporations.

Neil is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and is admitted to practice before the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
