Enzo Der Boghossian is a Partner in the Labor & Employment Law Department, resident in the Los Angeles office, where he counsels and represents employers in all aspects of employment law. He is a trusted advisor to employers seeking guidance on complex employment issues and regularly appears in state and federal courts, where he defends employers against a broad range of employment claims.
Enzo has extensive experience in the defense of major statewide and nationwide wage and hour class action claims, including claims involving meal breaks, rest breaks, misclassification, uniforms, on-call time, waiting time, overtime, expense reimbursement, bonus compensation, commissions, piece-rate compensation and work-off-the-clock allegations. Enzo also defends employers against discrimination and wrongful termination claims, both in civil litigation and private arbitrations, and has successfully resolved cases involving claims of disability, age, race, gender and sexual orientation discrimination, as well as retaliation, sexual harassment, and breach of contract.
Enzo also provides advice and counseling to employers on a wide variety of issues, including employee terminations, reductions in force, accommodations and leaves of absence, and the resolution of employee grievances. He frequently conducts workplace compliance training and internal investigations, and assists employers in the preparation and implementation of employment policies and procedures. Enzo also provides guidance to employers in responding to compliance audits and investigations conducted by state and federal agencies.
In addition, Enzo's practice includes counseling on all aspects of disability-related accessibility requirements under federal, state and local law, and the litigation of such claims on both an individual and a class action basis.
