When counseling the world’s leading businesses in employment and human resources management, legal objectives are only one part of the equation; just as important are clients’ business objectives. Our Employment Law Counseling & Training Group is comprised of proactive, creative professionals who work with companies in a broad range of sectors to help them navigate the ever-changing terrain of employment law, including the difficulties posed by intersecting – and often conflicting – federal, state and local laws and regulations. At the same time, we effectuate creative solutions to help clients promote employee morale and job satisfaction, reduce paperwork and properly transition workforces, as well as guide them through workplace audits and proper compliance. Our lawyers also work with employers to avoid litigation and ensure they are in the best position to defend themselves if legal proceedings do arise.

Our group is comprised of seasoned counselors, including former government officials, litigators and some of the country’s foremost authorities on federal, state and local workplace laws, many of whom are cited as among the best in their field by Chambers USA, US Legal 500 and other leading commentators on legal service providers. Our practice advises clients on policy issues as well as day-to-day employment counseling questions, providing superior, cost-effective advice and compliance support on a wide range of issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, employee classification, accommodation of religion and disability, leaves of absence and compliance with new laws and regulations.
